In recognition of its website creation for International Paper's Accent Opaque line, Rockford-based creative agency Trekk has been awarded Best B2B Website and recognized for Outstanding Achievement in Internet Advertising by the 2019 Internet Advertising Competition.
About the Accent Opaque Website
When International Paper approached Trekk to rebrand the Accent Opaque paper line, we went back to the company’s roots, elevating its history to appeal to designers, printers, and paper merchants alike. The brand new accentopaque.com was at the core of the refresh initiative.
The site puts the spotlight on the new Accent logo, which pays homage to Lester Beall, the mid-century designer who created International Paper's iconic logo in the 1960s. We created the website to be an energetic expression of the new Accent brand, with the intent of giving printers and designers a place to go for product specs and much more.
The website provides inspiration and educational resources aimed at building the community of Accent users while generating new leads for the International Paper sales team. It includes a gallery of creative projects printed on Accent paper, a library of Accent video content and downloadable resources, Accent Opaque paper specs, and blog content specifically targeted at designers and printers. Users also have the opportunity to submit their own best work to be featured for the whole Accent community.
